Standing Rules
1. The annual dues of the Club shall be $50 per year and are payable on or before the 1st day of May. Dues shall be delinquent after June 1 and membership forfeited. Members joining after January 1st will be in good standing for the ensuing year.
2. Yearbooks should be sent out immediately to out-of-town members and those unable to attend meetings. All other books not claimed by November 1 should be mailed.
3. In addition to the traditional CFWC memorial, direction of any memorial funds given to the Club will be determined by a committee of three derived from the executive board and appointed by the president.
4. Upon the signed recommendation of one member, seconded by another, and a ¾ vote at a board meeting, an honorary membership can be conferred upon a member of the Woman’s Club who shall have none of the obligations of membership in the Club but shall be entitled to all the privileges, except those of making motions, voting, and holding office.
5. Each November, a 3–5 member nominating committee shall be elected to develop a slate for the following year, which shall be presented at the February general meeting.
6. The annual corporate meeting and election of officers is to be held each year in March.
7. The Club scrapbook shall cover the period of June 1 of a given year through May 31 of the following year.
